Software Update Grayed Out Samsung Tv. When I attach the USB Key to the back of the TV it finds the USB Key but still the Support - Software Update Menu is still greyed out. If the Software Update option is greyed out please exit and change your TV source to Live TV then return to Software Update.

If your TV isnt connected to the internet or your internet connection isnt stable you can also update using a USB stick. If this area is greyed out it could be because the TV has just been switched on wait a minute then try again or because the TV is in Smart Hub mode. If your Samsung Smart TV has the software update greyed out or not selectable in the settings menu its an easy fix.
